I love your blog intro! I would love to have a narrow boat holiday so what you and your husband are embarking on sounds wonderful :)
Your photo says it all really.

Ooh thanks for lovin my blog intro. Recently I worried it was too long and considered changing to a snappy one liner. Emma, loved your recent Narrowboat post. Tried to comment but my computer/mobile net connection conspired against me...

Ah perfect peace. Been on two narrowboat holidays with my parents and loved every moment - even battling Audlem locks in torrential rain!!

We had a narrowboat holiday with son in law and three grandchildren. I loved it but my husband found it a week in hell. He is no longer agile enough for tiny showers, nipping about below deck and when he jumped ashore he fell in the mud. It was the highlight of the children's holiday.

Lovely view - slow pace of life - blissful.

This picture is beside the reservoirs between Tring and Marsworth, Herts. It is probably one of my top 3 most pretty moorings. (Other 2 being Hunsdon Mead, Roydon, Essex and Stockers Farm, Rickmansworth).
